Charlie Chow's Dragon Grill

I am not sure why this establishment has such good ratings but I'm here to say that my experience was not only sub par but disgusting. To begin with my soda was flat and the glass that contained the soda had old food stuck to it. I had ordered shrimp fried rice and it tasted like sanitizing chemicals. Another member of our party had the noodles and the texture was extremely slippery, more than a noodle like this should have been. We also had ordered orange chicken and that tasted of vinegar. Hopefully I will never be in a position where I am obligated to go to this restaurant again. In fact, now may be a good time to see if the Utah Health Department can pay them a surprise visit. In closing, the only reason they received two stars rather than one star is the server was fairly nice.

Wow! I just had the most amazing experience at Charlie Chows! It was my first time here, and our waitress politely walked me through the steps for ordering from the buffet. For my first bowl, I opted for a chicken teriyaki version. You walk down the line and pick your noodles, veggies, and other toppings, and then you choose which sauce you would like. When you are ready, they have these colored sticks labeled for each meat choice, " such as black for shrimp," and you hand it over to the cook who mix everything together Mongolian style. There was practically no wait between plates. Everything came out super fresh and hot! For my second plate, I went with a seafood version where I opted for low mein noodles, rice noodles, veggies, shrimp, and scallop. I added a few scoops of sweet and sour mix with one scoop of teriyaki, and it came out delicious! She was on top of our drinks and at the end let us make to-go boxes (which is usually unheard of at a buffet). I liked how they offered chocolate dipped fortune cookies at the end! PS: My child wasn't super hungry, but they let us get a bowl of rice from the buffet without having to pay for the full price for it. 10/10 recommended, and I can't wait to go back!

Love Charlie Chows! Service and food are amazing.The Mongolian Grill is the best. Always fresh veggies and fruit options and great sauce selections. I have never had a bad experience with the Grill. You can't go wrong when you pick your grill contents yourself. Also, everyone I have brought to try the Grill has loved it and comes back for more!

I always get the dragon grill lunch special- all you can eat DIY bowls for $13. They have a great selection of noodles, veggies, toppings and sauces. Then pick it you want a protein. They have fried tofu along the line, which is really yummy! They will cook it and bring it back to your table. Plan on bringing some cash to tip the cooks. I love making creative combinations and not being tied to your standard options. Seating is good, they have booths and bar height tables. For parking enter on 300 E south bound, park as far down the parking lot as you can, and walk through the back of the restaurant. Or just go around to the front. Staff is always so nice.
